Our very own “kid prodigy” Devin Stoneham, living out in a cabin in the Canadian woods, has today informed his label of no less than 4 brand new singles to be released over the rest of the Summer:
First up will be “Soul Survivor”, coming July 28th: “Organic electronic dance music, super fun celebration of the life. Party Anthem. Play this song at my funeral!”, says Devin.
Next up will be “Country Song”, August 11th: “I think country music is what happens naturally, when you write about life. It can capture a feeling that everyone can understand. I wanted to contribute to the canon of country music, by writing about my life, in way that everyone can connect with . Every word is true.”
“Fight for your Love” follows on August 25th, being a song about fearless love; with “Louise” released just in time for September 10th, meaning it will be out September 8th. We are not sure of the significance of September 10th – but as always we respect our Artists’ wishes as much as possible.
Devin’s talent cannot be overstated – he writes, records, produces everything on his own without so much as a proper studio.
“I’m always blown away, sometimes by the song writing, and then also always blown away by Devin’s voice and his singing. Hard to say what he is best at – writing or singing or playing. Just an amazingly talented fellow.” says label mate Neil Leyton. “Even when I played bass for Devin in his old band Madame Tussaud, with Justin Peroff on drums, I was always so impressed by his musicality. And the voice is exactly as young and vibrant as I remember it, 30 years ago.”
